Transfer to Thimphu
It is nearly a 4 hour drive and about 150Km. Thimphu is the capital and largest city of Bhutan. The culture of Bhutan is fully reflected in Thimphu in literature, religion, customs, and national dress code, the monastic practices of the monasteries, music, and dance, and in the media. It has a population of 104,200. En route explore Waterfalls & a lush green forests. Check in to hotel on arrival - Evening free for own activities. Dinner and overnight stay at Thimpu.
Thimpu Local Sightseeing
Morning post breakfast anf get ready for Bhutan full day sightseeing tour. Covering Buddha Point, BBS Tower, Tashicchhoe Dzong, The Memorial Chorten, National Library, The Institute of Traditional Medicine, Centenary Farmer Market, Changlimithang Stadium, School of Arts & Crafts, Handicraft Institute, Zangthopelri Lhakhang, Motithang Takin Reserve (Takin Zoo), Semtokha Dzong, Evening way return back to hotel, enjoy dinner & overnight Stay at Thimpu.
Thimpu - Punakha Excursion & Paro Transfer
Morning after breakfast and transfer to Punakha. It is nearly a 3hour drive and is approximately 85 Kilometers from Thimphu. Punakha is the administrative centre of Punakha dzongkhag, districts of Bhutan. Enroute visit Dochu la Pass, Druk Wangyal Lhakhang, Punakha Dzong, Wangdue Phodrang, Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten. Evening transfer to Paro. Paro is destination of scenic beauty, the only International Airport of Bhutan in Paro. It has a Population of 39,800 and nearly a 4 hour drive & approximately 125 kilometres from Punakha & Wangdue. Check in to hotel on arrival, dinner & overnight Stay at Paro.
Tiger Nest/Paro Takstang Day Excursion
Today morning after breakfast, will proceed for Tiger Nest day excursion tour. Its one of Bhutan’s most recognized spot. The monastery is the small collection of buildings precariously perched on a cliff, 900 meters off of the ground. The visit to the Tiger Nest monastery takes your full day as on average it takes four and five hours to do the round trip hike plus one more hour to tour to monastery. However, for those who cannot hike the entire way, can hire a horse to carry you most of the way there. Evening way back to hotel and a night stay.
Paro Local Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast and get ready to explore Paro by visiting Drukgyal Dzong, Kichulanka Monastery, Ta Dzong, Paro Rinpung Dzong (Museum), Nya-Mey Zam, Dungtse Lhankhang, Druk Choeding. Dinner & overnight stay at Paro.
Transfer to Phuentsholing after sightseeing
After breakfast and check-out from hotel, next proceed for Paro International Airport Sightseeing, from there will have a straight drive to Phuentsholing. It is Approximately 150 kilometers and is nearly a 4 hours drive. Check in to your pre booked hotel, freshen up and evening free to stroll around the local market. Dinner and night stay at Phuentsholing.
Departure IXB/NJP
Morning after breakfast and check out from the hotel and next transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB). The distance is about to 160 kilometers and is approximately 4 hours drive. The drive is through Dooars i.e. the foothills of Himalaya, is plain forested area and number of Tea estate. One of the most beautiful and green belt of the region. Stop at Coronation bridge at Sevoke for photography if time permits. Forwarding Journey.
